Support a Veteran's Struggle for Dignity

I am a proud US Army Veteran struggling with service-connected PTSD and was a proud Army spouse to a career Army solder for 14 years until my recent divorce. I am also a devoted, involved, and loving single Father to my teenage son and daughter. They are my reason to keep surviving when life gets very dark.

I am not begging for sympathy, nor will I try to pull on your heartstrings with a sob story. I am not a victim.

To put it simply, I have financial struggles with housing, bills (utilities, car insurance, fuel, food, etc.), and the cost of raising two teenagers. I am unable to work due to my service-connected PTSD and other SC medical issues, so my only income is my VA compensation. I am not yet rated at 100% and am currently trying to get my rating increased (if you are familiar with the VA you know the struggles).

I am simply trying to ask for help in a way that, hopefully, doesn't embarrass or degrade myself, my family, or the uniform. Thank you.
